Terms of use

By using convrt, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

convrt provides a free, browser-based tool to convert between common raster formats. Conversion is intended to run locally in your browser as described on our Privacy page.

No warranty (as-is)

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator (see Impressum) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of convrt or inability to use it.

You are responsible for backing up your files. Do not rely solely on convrt for irreplaceable data.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse convrt (including attempting to disrupt the service, overload infrastructure, or use it for unlawful content). You retain responsibility for ensuring you have the right to process any files you convert.

Intellectual property

The convrt site, branding, and code are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your source files remain yours.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to mandatory consumer protections where they apply. The courts at the operator's registered seat in Switzerland have jurisdiction where legally permissible; see the linked Impressum for operator details.
